Dr. Trevor E. Elmquist founded Elmquist Eye Group after serving as an ophthalmology resident at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in the 1980s. In his last year there, Dr. Elmquist was selected as the Chief Resident at Walter Reed, then proudly served as chief of the eye clinic at Homestead Air Force base from 1988 – 1990.
Dr. Kate Wagner served as a U.S. Army captain stationed in Fort Bragg, North Carolina at Womack Army Medical Center. In 2004 and 2005, she also served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, treating servicemen and women at a clinic near Baghdad.
