Now Serving You
Who wouldn’t want to choose an eye care center in southwest Florida where you can receive care from one of these fine military physicians? We all need regular eye exams; we recommend one at least every year, regardless of age. In fact, eye exams should start in early childhood and continue into old age.
Early detection of eye diseases is key, particularly since many of these diseases and conditions have no symptoms, particularly in the early stages. As such, regular eye exams are the only true detection method, and the earlier the detection the better. When caught early, eye diseases are easier to treat.
Comprehensive Eye Exam
A comprehensive eye exam includes so much more than just a vision test. We will talk with you about your vision and any changes you have been noticing, collect a personal and family medical history, and determine how well your eyes work together. Dilated eye exams allow us to see details in the eye and we will also perform other tests to check for conditions like glaucoma.
We stress good nutrition which is a major factor in achieving and maintaining good eye health. We recommend vitamins and nutrients like omega-3, vitamins C and E and lutein – all of which are very important in warding off age-related vision issues like cataracts and macular degeneration.
We have great doctors, convenient office locations, and great hours. Eye care at Elmquist is caring and comprehensive. Just like our duties in the military, we feel a duty to protect and care for your eyes. You simply can’t go wrong making Elmquist Eye Group your eye care center in southwest Florida.
