While Dr. Elmquist is affiliated with both Southwest Regional Medical Center and Gulfcoast Hospital, the majority of his surgeries are performed at University Eye Surgery Center, a state-of-the-art outpatient surgical facility providing a full range of ophthalmic (eye) procedures.

The University Eye Surgery Center believes in the critical importance of anesthesia care. Anesthesia is provided by a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. An anesthesiologist will meet with you to review your medical history, discuss your anesthetic and address any questions or concerns.
